Informed and engaging, a Tour Guide ensures tourists enjoy their visit by planning the itinerary to the location's attractions, safely transporting them and making the tour a pleasant experience. Of course, it is certainly an added bonus if the Guide is a resident of the area!
At the end of this Training Program, the learner will be able to:
- To prepare for tour operations and routine inspection of the vehicle prior to the trip
- To ensure driving the customer safely to the destination following all traffic rules
- To prepare sample reports (eg: vehicle diagnostic report, road worthiness report) and logs (eg: mileage and kilometre log, vehicle log)
- To guide tourists on various types of tours
- To prepare sample invoice and receive payment
- To communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and superiors for a smooth workflow
- To apply gender and age-sensitive service practices
- To describe protocols of confidentiality of the organizational information and guests' privacy
- To apply health, hygiene, and safety practices at the workplace
Program Eligibility:
- 12 Class/I.T.I. (two years after class 10 ) with 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Executive (Meet & Greet) OR
- 12 Class/I.T.I. (one year after class 10 with one year of experience) with 2 years of experience as a Customer Service Executive (Meet & Greet) OR
- Certificate-NSQF (level-4 Tour Escort) with 1 Year of experience as a Customer Service Executive (Meet & Greet)
Minimum Job Entry: 18 to 35 years

Driving license of two-wheeler and four-wheeler
