Housekeeping Supervisor

By overseeing the cleanliness of a hotel is maintained and each guest's comfort is met, the Housekeeping Supervisor ensures the housekeeping team works efficiently round the clock. A Housekeeping Supervisor's services are required not just at hotels and resorts but also at universities, office buildings and sometimes, hospitals.

At the end of this Training Program, the learner will be able to:

  • To monitor and train housekeeping staff, and manage Housekeeping inventory
  • To supervise Housekeeping activities and handle various administrative duties
  • To communicate effectively with guests, colleagues and seniors for a smooth workflow
  • To ensure gender and age-sensitive service practices
  • To outline protocols of confidentiality of organizational information and guests' privacy
  • To monitor health, hygiene and safety standards at the workplace

Program Eligibility:

  • 12th Class/I.T.I. (two years after class 10 ) with 3 years of experience in Housekeeping Department OR
  • 12th Class/I.T.I. (one year after class 10 and with one year of experience) with 3 years of experience in Housekeeping Department OR
  • Certificate-NSQF (Guest Service Associate - Housekeeping) with 1 year of experience in Housekeeping Department

Minimum Job Entry: 21 years
