Store Operation Assistant / Retail Sales Associate

Learner would be able to work as store operations assistant in organized retailing and may look after overall store operations. He/she can also motivate other co-workers and who assist customers in finding merchandise, introduce customers to new merchandise, and move the goods from racks to billing counters.

learner would be able to work as sales associate in organized retailing to guide the customers in finding merchandise, introduce customers to new merchandise, highlight product features in order to promote sales and also guide to the Retail Sales Assistants. He/she interact with customers to understand and service customer needs with specialization leading to maximization of business in a retail environment.

At the end of this Training Program, the learner will be able to:

Program Eligibility:

  • 10th Class/I.T.I (two years after class 8 ) with 1 Year experience in Retail / Marketing Service OR
  • 12th Class/I.T.I (one year after class 8 and with one year of experience) with 1 Year of experience in Retail / Marketing Service OR
  • Certificate-NSQF

COURSE REQUIREMENTS: The learner should have the basic knowledge of commerce, management specially retailing aspects.

COURSE LEVEL: This is a beginner level course. On completion of this course, a student can take up an Intermediate level course for job roles in Retail – Sales Associate, Distributor Salesman in class 11 and 12

Minimum Job Entry: 18 years
